So it has been a really long time since I have written anything on here. I figure the best way to start is to go back to the ole bread 'n butter and put up my final list of what I read while I was deployed to Iraq and in the year since I got back.; I think I may try to expand this list to every book that I've read, or that I can at least remember reading.
I read two incredible books books: Joan Didion's The Year of Magical Thinking, and JR Moerhringer's The Tender Bar. Cold Mountain was REALLY good too; much better than the stupid movie.
I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them. And Joan Didion is from Sacramento and went to CK McClatchey High School (Do you think that they even know she went there? Idiots.)
I'll start writing real things again this upcoming week...
